🥄 Ingredients

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 4 cups water
  • 3 tbsp rose water
  • 2 tbsp fresh lime juice
  • 200g thin rice noodles or vermicelli
  • Fresh lime wedges for serving
  • Sour cherry syrup (optional)

    Make syrup: boil sugar and water until sugar dissolves. Cool completely.

    Add rose water and lime juice to cooled syrup.

    Cook rice noodles according to package, drain, rinse with cold water.

    Cut noodles into 2-inch pieces.

    Mix noodles with syrup.

    Pour into shallow container and freeze.

    Stir every 30 minutes for first 2 hours to break up ice crystals.

    Freeze until slushy-frozen texture.

    Serve in bowls with lime wedge and drizzle of sour cherry syrup.
