Sooji Halwa (ਸੂਜੀ ਹਲਵਾ)

🥄 Ingredients
- 1 cup sooji (semolina)
- ½ cup ghee
- 1 cup sugar
- 2½ cups water
- ½ tsp cardamom powder
- 2 tbsp almonds, sliced
- 2 tbsp cashews
- 2 tbsp raisins

Heat ghee in pan, add sooji.

Roast on low heat until golden and fragrant.

Meanwhile, boil water with sugar until dissolved.

Fry cashews and almonds in a little ghee, set aside.

Slowly add sugar water to roasted sooji, stirring constantly.

Add cardamom and raisins.

Cook until halwa thickens and leaves sides.

Garnish with fried nuts.
