- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 6 tbsp cold butter
- 3/4 cup heavy cream plus more for brushing
- 1 large egg
- 4 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
- 1/4 cup sugar for strawberries
- 2 cups heavy cream for whipping
- 3 tbsp powdered sugar

Toss strawberries with sugar and let macerate for 30 minutes.

Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Cut in cold butter.

Stir in cream and egg until dough forms.

Pat out and cut 8 rounds. Brush with cream.
