  • 1 lb puff pastry
  • 2 cups pastry cream
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 2 oz dark chocolate, melted

    Roll puff pastry thin. Cut into three rectangles.

    Prick all over with fork.

    Bake between two sheet pans at 400ยฐF for 15-20 minutes.

    Cool completely.

    Spread pastry cream on two layers.

    Stack layers, ending with plain layer on top.

    Make glaze with powdered sugar and milk.

    Spread glaze, pipe chocolate lines, drag through for pattern.

    Chill before slicing with serrated knife.
